Plymouth residents are welcome to donate items to the Plymouth History Center to help save local history and make it accessible to the public.

In addition to filling out the donation form below, those who would like to donate to the museum should contact the Plymouth History Center at 763-509-5229 or email a photograph and description of the donation material to history@plymouthmn.gov.

Unfortunately, because of limited space and resources we cannot accept every item into our collection, and we do not accept unsolicited object donations.

Items not accepted include

  • Artifacts that are not directly connected to Plymouth, Minnesota or its residents
  • Large farm equipment
  • Family bibles
  • Encyclopedias
  • Family trees
  • Typewriters
  • Unidentified photographs
  • Wedding dresses

Accepted items include:

  • Yearbooks from local Plymouth schools
  • Identified photographs of Plymouth or its residents
  • Oral Histories about Plymouth
  • Published materials, manuscripts, maps
  • Materials from local businesses and organizations
  • Government and church records
